Hello everyone!
It is the 20th of February today, only two days left till we will travel to South Africa. I have some mixed feelings about it. I am really excited that the adventure will finally begin, but also a little bit nervous about the things we will do. Last week we had our last meeting and checked if we had everything, and everyone did so that is a relief. I started to pack my suitcase this evening and bought the last essentials that I wanted to bring. It is very hard to pack your suitcase because I am afraid that I will forget something. The teachers said that if we forget something we can buy it over there, so that is nice to know.
On Friday we gather at the airport at 15:30 and our plane to Istanbul leaves at 18:20. At 23:45 we arrive in Istanbul and then we leave at 02:25 again. After many hours of traveling we will arrive at 12:35 in Cape Town. Then we still have to travel for two hours to Genadendal and from that, I don’t know what’s going to happen. It will be a surprise for me, but also for you.
